Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and OpenHood for the use of OpenHood, an AI chat assistant that analyses tokens and wallets on Robinhood Chain, available at openhood.si. Please read them carefully.

01Accepting these terms

By using OpenHood — with or without an account — you agree to these terms and confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

02Who we are

OpenHood is operated by OpenHood (“we”, “us”, “our”).

  • Address: [Registered address — to be added]
  • Registration number: [Company registration number — to be added]
  • Email: [email protected]

03Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use OpenHood. If you use the service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation.

04The service and free use

OpenHood lets you ask questions in a chat. To answer, our AI fetches public blockchain data — such as token prices, holders, security checks and wallet activity — from third-party data providers and writes an analysis.

You can send 10 messages without an account. After that, you need to create a free account to keep chatting. Free-use limits, rate limits and the features available may change over time.

05Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your email address up to date.
  • Keep your password secret and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Tell us at [email protected] straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that are used in breach of these terms, for abuse, or to protect the service or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to use OpenHood to, or attempt to:

  • break any law or regulation, or help anyone else do so;
  • manipulate markets, coordinate “pump and dump” schemes, or otherwise mislead other market participants;
  • scrape the service or access it through bots, scripts or other automated or bulk means, except through interfaces we expressly provide for that purpose;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy the service, or bypass usage limits, rate limits, authentication or other security measures;
  • carry out prompt-injection or similar attacks intended to make the AI ignore its instructions, reveal internal information or misuse its tools;
  • upload or share content that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
  • share other people’s personal data without a lawful basis to do so;
  • interfere with or disrupt the service, its infrastructure or other users.

07Not financial advice

Important — please read

OpenHood provides information only. Nothing it produces is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any token or asset.

Crypto-assets are highly volatile and high-risk. Prices can fall to zero, liquidity can disappear, and scams, rug pulls and malicious contracts are common. Only risk what you can afford to lose, do your own research, and consider talking to a qualified, independent adviser before making any decision.

Any decision you make based on OpenHood is yours alone, and you are responsible for its consequences.

08Limits of AI answers and data

  • AI can be wrong. Answers are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Models can “hallucinate” — state things that sound plausible but are false.
  • Data can be wrong or late. On-chain and market data comes from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect.
  • Labels are heuristics, not guarantees. Labels such as “low risk” or security check results are produced by automated rules. A token that passes our checks can still be a scam or lose its value.
  • Verify independently. Check important facts — contract addresses in particular — against primary sources such as a block explorer before you rely on them.

09Your content

You keep all rights you have in the messages you send (“your content”). You are responsible for it and confirm you have the right to share it with us.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process and transmit your content as needed to operate the service — for example, to send it to our AI provider to generate an answer and to store your chat history. Unless you opt out in Settings → Data controls → “Improve OpenHood with my chats”, this licence also covers using your content to improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for de-identified datasets already created before you opted out or deleted it.

As between you and us, you may use the answers you receive for any lawful purpose, subject to these terms. Similar answers may be given to other users.

10Our intellectual property

The service — including its software, design, prompts, the OpenHood name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as offered; they do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

11Third-party services and links

OpenHood relies on third-party providers (for example, AI models and blockchain data APIs) and may show links, token logos or content from third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party websites, tokens, projects or services, and a link or mention is not an endorsement. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

12Availability and changes to the service

OpenHood is in beta. We are actively developing it, so features, supported data, AI models and usage limits may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the service, for example for maintenance, security reasons or if a provider stops working. Where a change significantly affects you and it is reasonable to do so, we will give notice in advance.

14Ending your use

You can stop using OpenHood at any time. You can permanently delete your account, chats, feedback and sessions yourself in Settings → Data controls → Delete account, or by emailing [email protected].

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination — such as 7, 8, 15, 16, 17 and 18 — will continue to apply.

15Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that any answer, data or label is correct or complete.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect, including statutory rights relating to digital content and services under the law of your country of residence.

16Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for any trading losses, investment decisions, or loss of tokens, funds, profits or opportunities resulting from your use of, or reliance on, OpenHood;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you started using the service;
  • our total liability to you for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of €100 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or under mandatory EU or national consumer-protection rules.

17Indemnity (business users)

If you use OpenHood for business purposes, then, to the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from third-party claims caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service. This section does not apply to consumers.

18Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia, and the courts of Ljubljana have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [email protected] — most issues can be solved quickly. Please note that the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued in July 2025, so complaints can no longer be submitted through it. If you live in the EU and have a cross-border complaint, the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) can give you free advice. We are not obliged, and do not currently commit, to take part in alternative dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

19Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we change the service or when the law requires it. We will update the “Last updated” date. For material changes we will give you notice in advance — for example in the app or by email — at least 14 days before they take effect where reasonable. If you do not agree to the new terms, you can stop using the service and delete your account; continuing to use it after the changes take effect means you accept them.

20General

Severability

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the affected part will be applied as closely as possible to its original intent.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not waived it.

Transfer

You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to another organisation that takes over the service, provided this does not reduce your rights.
